Our everyday lives are so hectic and fast paced, it is not surprising that more of us have started to search for ways to unplug and slow down for a while. 

​

We really wanted to create a weekend retreat that celebrates the countryside and a much slower pace. Surrounded by stunning nature our interiors are modern, calm but combined with traditional features of our 400 year old farmhouse. We absolutely adore the textures, the original exposed beams, the original doors, the Norfolk floor tiles. The cosy lower ceilings and uneven floors add an authenticity that we can’t get enough of here and add so much character.

You’ll find a beautiful mix of old and new in our interior design. A Scandinavian design piece sits comfortably next to a vintage find in our Norfolk Stay. The neutral colour palette helps  enhance the feeling of returning to nature and adds a peaceful comfort. Texture is so important to us, you’ll find rugs, cushions and linen but it remains fresh and minimal too.
